My friend’s baby shower is this weekend and I have been trying to come up with some last minute decorations to give the candy buffet I’m putting together that little something extra. After looking at tons of baby shower inspirations I finally decided on pomanders and since I’m making it to go on the candy buffet I decided make it with cupcake liners, festive, right? icon smile DIY Cupcake Liner Pomander {Tutorial}

This is a simple DIY project that can make a big impact and give your party the pizzazz it deserves!!

Here is what you will need:

  • Foam Ball (I purchased mine at the Dollar Tree)
  • Cupcake Liners (I used about 50)
  • Push Pins

Step 1: Take the push pin and stick it through the middle of the inside of the cupcake liner

Step 2:Holding the tip of the pin turn the cupcake liner upside down then cup your hand around the cupcake liner and and squeeze it together (Sorry if that doesn’t make sense, I don’t know another way to explain it) but it should look like the picture below when you’re done

Step 3:  Push the pin with the crinkled cupcake liner into the foam ball

Step 4: Continue around the ball in a straight line (I didn’t put any on the bottom since I am going to place the pomander on a candle holder)
