DIY No Sew Lace Bow Tutorial 220x300 DIY No Sew Lace Bow {Tutorial}Lace Bows make the cutest hair bows for babies, little girls and even pets, but if you purchase them in a retail store you are going to pay anywhere from $5-$10 dollars so I’m going to show you a quick and easy DIY No Sew Lace Bow Tutorial that takes less than 10 minutes to make and cost about $1.00 or less per bow.

Here is what you will need:

  • Lace Hem Tape (You can get this in different sizes from 3/4 inch to 1 ¾ Inches)
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Scissors
  • Hair Clip or Stretchy Headband

Determine what size you want your No Sew Lace Bow to be, if you want a small bow then the 3/4 inch hem tape is a good size to use; however if you want a medium size bow then you should use the 1 3/4 inch hem tape. For this tutorial I’m going to show you how to make a small No Sew Lace Bow; however I’ll include the instructions on how to make a medium size bow as well.

Step 1: For a small bow you should cut 2 pieces of Hem Tape that are about 5 Inches long and 1 piece that is about 2 1/2  inches long. If you are making a medium size bow then you should cut 2 pieces of hem tape  7 inches long and one piece that is 3 1/2 inches long. lace fabric pieces 1024x604 DIY No Sew Lace Bow {Tutorial}
Step 2: Start with one of the pieces and fold the two sides so that they meet in the center. Then take the hot glue gun and glue the both sides to the center to keep them in place.

Step 4: Take the two longer pieces and glue them on top of each other with a dab of glue in the very center glue large pieces of fabric on top of each other 1024x592 DIY No Sew Lace Bow {Tutorial}

Step 5: Take your fingers and Squish the two pieces together (accordion style) in the very center; however if your fabric is too narrow to fold in an accordion manner then you can just squish your fabric so that it folds in half (The bow I made was to small so I ended up having to fold it in half instead of accordion style), you can see from the picture below. Add a tiny dot of glue to keep it in place
