Fall Color Report: Bright Chartreuse
12 Monday Nov 2012
It’s week five of my Pantone Fall Color Report decorating showcase. Over the past few weeks I’ve shared decorating ideas and inspirations for Pantone’s French Roast, Honey Gold, Pink Flambe, Tangerine Tango (at Color of the Year: Tangerine Tango) and Ultramarine Green. This week I am sharing decorating ideas and inspirations for Pantone’s Bright Chartreuse. Bright Chartreuse is a vital yellow-green, pays homage to a typical spring shade and creates a bridge into the cooling days of fall.
This vibrant moss-like color is a great way to give your home a nature-inspired look by pairing it with a neutral color palette full of earthy brown tones or pair it with dark gray or white to achieve a crisp modern look. If you are looking for a more dramatic look mix it with other bold, saturated hues like orange, red, blue or purple to create drama, excitement and warmth.
This bold hue is extremely versatile and can be paired with just about any color on the color palette, so whether you choose the use it as an accent color with textiles and decorative accessories or decide to go BIG and fully embrace this electrifying color it’s a sure way to give your home a fresh uplift that is playful and fun yet still on trend.
Here are some ways that you can incorporate Bright Chartreuse into your home.
